Christmas heart - Ballerina - gold-plated

This beautiful, pleated Christmas heart with a ballerina motif by Hans Christian Andersen is inspired by ‘The Steadfast Tin Soldier’ and bound to spread happiness and Christmas cheer.

The pleated brass Christmas heart features an 18-carat gold coating. It is 8 cm wide and tall. A red ribbon for hanging the decoration is included.

The Story of the Steadfast Tin Soldier

‘The Steadfast Tin Soldier’ is about a one-legged tin soldier who ends up on the adventure of a lifetime. He quickly falls in love with the beautiful ballerina, but bad luck strikes when he falls out of the window and is picked up by two boys, who throw him in a lake. The tin soldier manages to fight his way back to the house where the ballerina lives.

The fairy tale might not have the happy ending we expect, but it has a powerful message about the importance of staying true to yourself and who you are.
