The tree is an enlarged version of H. C. Andersen’s own hand cut fir tree. Originally cut in paper, of course. Everyone knows H. C. Andersen’s fairy tale about The Fir Tree but not everyone knows about his beautiful paper cuttings. The illustration of the Christmas tree is with a star on top and with Christmas elves and geese at the bottom. The original cutting is in two layers and folded in the middle so it can stand.

When you combine different sizes of the fir tree you achieve an almost magical atmosphere at the Christmas table, in the windowsill or somewhere else entirely.

The Christmas tree is made of brass and plated in 18 carat gold. It measures 50 cm in height and 25 cm in width and as such is the biggest version in the series “The classic fir tree”.
