Pendant - Soldier - gold plated

This hanging ornament, depicting a soldier, is 9 cm tall, gilded and fitted with a red ribbon for hanging it up.

The hanging ornament is both an original paper cut-out by Hans Christian Andersen and a character from the fairy tale *The Tinderbox*.

The original paper cut-out depicts a soldier dressed in red and blue.

In the fairy tale, the Soldier must move three large dogs to gain access to riches. One has eyes as big as teacups, another has eyes like mill wheels, and the last has eyes as big as the Round Tower!

Use the Soldier as a decoration on your Christmas tree or on a troll’s branch.
