A proud soldier came marching along, one-two, one-two… That is how Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale *The Tinderbox* begins. The proud soldier was also cut out of paper by Hans Christian Andersen and used to decorate the Christmas tree as a token of gratitude for his lodgings when he visited the many manor houses on his travels. That is why we have also used the Soldier as a miniature for a candle holder, so that it can decorate many more Christmas trees.

The pendant is detachable from the candle holder, so it can also be used for other decorations.
