Nordahl Andersen has been producing Christmas decorations featuring motifs drawn from H.C. Andersen’s own work or inspired by his many fairy tales since 2012. This candle holder is adorned with a Christmas tree, which was originally cut out of paper by H.C. Andersen himself. This delicate miniature version of the Christmas tree can be attached to the candle holder in an instant and used throughout December as a small hanging decoration, signalling that the Christmas tree is on its way. When the time finally comes to decorate the tree, it is attached to the candle holder once more to reflect the candlelight on the tree.

The candle holder is made of brass and plated with 18-carat gold.
