A classic and elegant Christmas heart that will bring a magical atmosphere to your home.

The Christmas heart is crafted from brass and plated with 18-carat gold. It measures 15 cm in height and 16 cm in width, and comes with an adjustable red ribbon.

The woven Christmas heart is believed to be the world’s first, cut and woven by H.C. Andersen in the 1860s. It is not known for certain whether it was intended as a Christmas decoration to hang on the Christmas tree, as it had no loop. One source states that it was made in 1862 and was given as a present to H.C. Ørsted’s youngest daughter, Mathilde.

It was not until the 1870s that woven Christmas hearts designed to be hung on the Christmas tree first appeared.
